Program-
John Yoder, President of Friends of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail will report on the great progress of trail construction in 2011 and the plans for 2012. He will also report on the work of the Pumpkinvine Advisory Committee that was created a year ago to coordinate administration and operation of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail, Maple City Greenway and MapleHeart Trail.
Speakers-
Our guest speakers this year are Diana Lawson, Executive Director of the Elkhart County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and Beth Thornburg, Executive Director of the LaGrange County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. They will share their stories regarding tourism development and the important role the Pumpkinvine plays in both counties.
Door prizes-
Door prizes include gift certificates to a local bike shop and a Specialized Live 1 one-speed light-duty utility bike that offers classic urban style and a front basket to carry groceries, a laptop, art supplies, or anything that suits your mood, donated by Pumpkinvine Cyclery in Middlebury.
