The Pumpkinvine Bike Ride will satisfy bicyclists who want a light or vigorous workout on low-traffic county roads. The 15, 26, 44, 67 and 104-mile routes are rolling country roads and a few sections with moderate hills. There is more information about the 15-mile Country-life Loop on this page.

The Family Trail Ride is on the developed portion of the Pumpkinvine Trail and enters county roads only at crossings. This ride is 10 miles round trip.

The 10, 26, 44, 67 and 104 mile routes start at Abshire Park in Goshen and the first 5.2 miles are on the Pumpkinvine Trail. Then the 10 mile route returns to Abshire Park while the remaining routes continue on county roads.

Family-&-carriage

All of the routes are also interesting to bicyclists who want to experience horses with buggies, farm animals in fields, flower gardens, one-room schools and small towns. Country stores and businesses that operate without electricity are marked on the route maps and you are welcome to stop for a visit.

Ride proceeds benefit development of the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail. More
