Where will the Pumpkinvine Bike Ride start?

You may start at either Abshire Park in Goshen or at the Shipshewana Flea Market.

Abshire Park - Map to Abshire Park

1302 E. Lincoln Ave., Goshen, IN 46528

From Main St. in Goshen look for the intersection where State Routes 4, 15 and 33 meet. The intersection is beside the Elkhart County Courthouse. Turn east onto State Route 4, Lincoln Ave., and proceed across the Norfolk and Southern railroad tracks, approximately four blocks. Abshire Park will be on your right within three blocks. There is a white sign at the entrance.

 

Shipshewana Flea Market -

The Shipshewana Flea Market is on State Route 5, Van Buren St., about two blocks south of the stop sign at the intersection with County Road 250.

Rides starting in Goshen

10.2-Mile Family Trail Ride - 8:30 - 10:30

  • Abshire Park to County Road 33 and return on the same route, 10.2 miles round trip. The ride will be on the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail.
  • Participants are offered SAG food at Abshire Park as well as pie and ice cream.
  • This ride is for families with children or others who prefer not to ride on county roads.
  • Park and register at Abshire Park.
    *Riders not be allowed to start before 8:30 am.

30-Mile Loop - Start 7:00 to 10:00 am

  • Ride from Goshen to Middlebury and back to Goshen.
  • SAGs at River Bend Park and Abshire Park for a total of two stops.
  • Park and register at Abshire Park.

51-Mile Loop - Start 7:00 to 10:00 am

  • Ride from Goshen to Middlebury, then to Bonneyville returning to Middlebury and then back to Goshen. The Bonneyville route, 19.4 miles, is hilly but scenic.
  • SAGs at River Bend Park and Abshire Park for a total of three stops.
  • Park and register at Abshire Park.

60-Mile Loop - Start 7:00 to 10:00 am

  • Goshen to Middlebury to Shipshewana, back to Middlebury and then back to Goshen.
  • You will visit SAGs at River Bend Park, Shipshewana Flea Market and Abshire Park for a total of four stops.
  • Park and register at Abshire Park.

100-Mile Loop - Start 7:00 to 9:30 am

  • Ride from Goshen to Middlebury, then to Bonneyville returning to Middlebury, then to Shipshewana followed the route to Twin Lakes and back to Shipshewana, then to Middlebury and finally back to Goshen.
  • You will visit SAGs at River Bend Park, Shipshewana Flea Market and Abshire Park for a total of six stops. There will be a mini-SAG at Twin Lakes.
  • Park and register at Abshire park.

Rides starting at Shipshewana Flea Market

13-Mile Family Trail Ride - 8:30 - 10:30

  • Abshire Park to County Road 33 and return on the same route, 13 miles round trip. The Pumpkinvine Nature Trail starts 0.8 mile from the Shipshewana Flea Market. As a result 1.7 miles of the ride will be on county roads.
  • Participants are offered SAG food at Shipshewana Flea Market as well as pie and ice cream.
  • Park and register at Shipshewana Flea Market.
    *Riders not be allowed to start before 8:30 am.

21-Mile Loop - Start 7:00 to 10:00 am

  • Ride to Twin Lakes and return.
  • You will have one SAG at Shipshewana Flea Market. There will be a mini-SAG near Twin Lakes.
  • Park and register at Shipshewana Flea Market.

30-Mile Loop - Start 7:00 to 10:00 am

  • Ride from Shipshewana to Middlebury and return.
  • You will visit SAGs at River Bend Park and Shipshewana Flea Market for a total of two stops.
  • Park and register at Shipshewana Flea Market.

51-Mile Loop - Start 7:00 to 10:00 am

  • You will ride to Twin Lakes and back to Shipshewana, then go on to Middlebury and finally return to Shipshewana.
  • You will visit SAGs at Shipshewana Flea Market and River Bend Park for a total of four stops. There will be a mini-SAG near Twin Lakes.
  • Park and register at Shipshewana Flea Market.

60-Mile Loop - Start 7:00 to 10:00 am

  • You will ride from Shipshewana to Middlebury, then Goshen, return to Middlebury and finally return to Shipshewana.
  • You will visit SAGs at River Bend Park, Abshire Park and Shipshewana Flea Market for a total of four stops.
  • Park and register at Shipshewana Flea Market.

100-Mile Loop - Start 7:00 to 9:30 am

  • You will ride from Shipshewana to Twin Lakes, return to Shipshewana, then to Middlebury, then Goshen, return to Middlebury, ride the Bonneyville route returning to Middlebury and finally return to Shipshewana.
  • You will visit SAGs at River Bend Park, Abshire Park and Shipshewana Flea Market for a total of six stops.
  • Park and register at Shipshewana Flea Market.
